What Carscrap does, and what it does not do
Carscrap is an information and referral service for Singapore car owners. It passes an enquiry to up to three disposal businesses only when asked.
What Carscrap does
The guides set out itemised net proceeds: PARF, COE rebate, body value and deductions on separate lines, plus the LTA evidence that shows disposal is complete.

Who pays
How Carscrap is paid
The owner pays nothing. A disposal business receiving an enquiry may pay Carscrap a fee, and each enquiry goes to at most three businesses. Fees never change a guide.
Under this referral model, recipients are described by type only, such as an LTA-appointed scrapyard, and no partner is named.

Guides are published as Carscrap Team: no named author or credentialed reviewer is on record.
Research, outlining and drafting may be AI-assisted; every published page is reviewed by an accountable person before it ships, and every rebate, deadline, fee or regulation figure is checked against a named primary source (LTA, SSO, MOT, Singapore Customs) with a fetched date.
